Start reading the picture from Noah's Ark at the top center and follow clockwise: the upheaval and evolution of creation, the serpentine tentacles of sin, the man in the serpent, the cave dwellings, the city, the bishop. Some symbolisms: the sphinx, the cat and the ladder. The ladder represents the search for God. In the center Moses on Mount Sinai with the tablets of the law.
