Gianni Moramarco nato a Torino,è un creativo a tutto tondo, la cui biografia artistica si sviluppa nell’arco tre lustri con un percorso eclettico e costante, ricco di successi creativi che vanno dall’architettura d’interni al fashion design ed alle arti visive. In anni recenti Moramarco ha sviluppato con successo il versante espositivo con presenza in numerose gallerie europee e manifestazioni artistiche d’alto livello. Di recente è da registrare la sua presenza alla 7a Biennale Internazionale d’Arte di Ferrara 2014. Le sue opere figurano in collezioni pubbliche e private. Nato a Torino nel 1957 , divide la sua attività tra architettura e produzione artistica. L’ispirazione di Gianni Moramarco sembra avere una vena "pop" che si tiene ben lontana da aridità concettuali. Talvolta surreale, talvolta molto concreto, i suoi quadri sono popolati da riferimenti chiari alla sua città d’origine i cui luoghi simbolici giocano con torri infuocate e forme addolcite ma deformate di valchirie spiate feticisticamente. Moramarco si muove all’interno di un meccanismo pittorico fatto di ironia, candore, artigianalità annullando le regole e i limiti della cornice dell’opera, invadendo i confini del quadro, come spinto da un impulso irrefrenabile a fugare la realtà reinterpretandola con il canone del suo linguaggio artistico.
