This hand-painted black-and-white portrait is part of my self-developed series “Binary Faces”, where iconic personalities are translated into a unique pixel-code visual language.

In this work, I combine traditional acrylic painting techniques with a structured, digital-inspired composition.
Each fragment is individually painted, creating a complex surface that shifts between abstraction and realism depending on the viewer’s distance.

The portrait is inspired by the cultural legacy and symbolic presence of Tupac Shakur.
Rather than aiming for pure likeness, the work explores identity as a coded structure — layered, fragmented, and constantly evolving.

The interplay between order and chaos gives the piece its emotional intensity, while the pixel-like system reflects the influence of the digital age on how we perceive individuals and icons.
