Dipinto in stile espressionista figurativo con richiami al fauvismo, volto al mondo del fantastico e dalla spiccata valenza simbolica. La materia pittorica ricca e corposa struttura l'intera opera dove campeggiano il mio autoritratto in sella al cavallo, essere nobile ed intelligente, affascinante e carico di sensualità, circondato da un'aquila e un drago, dalla cui coda, secondo la tradizione giapponese, si è estratta la spada che sto brandendo. Archetipo di forza e giustizia, la spada a sua volta, nella cultura cinese, cadendo nel fiume si trasforma in un drago lucente o, conficcandosi nella terra, origina fonti d’acqua. Da qui attinge l'aquila che, nel suo librarsi fino ad altezze impossibili per l'uomo, diviene simbolo di qualsiasi movimento ascensionale, dalla terra al cielo, collegando il mondo materiale al mondo spirituale, dalla morte alla vita. 

Painting in expressionist figurative style with references to Fauvism, aimed at the world of fantasy and the strong symbolic value. The rich and full-bodied pictorial matter structures the whole work where I stand out my self-portrait riding a horse, a noble and intelligent being, fascinating and full of sensuality, surrounded by an eagle and a dragon, from whose tail, according to Japanese tradition, the sword I am brandishing is extracted. Archetype of strength and justice, the sword in turn, in Chinese culture, falling into the river turns into a shining dragon or, sticking into the ground, originates water sources. From here draws the eagle that, in its soaring to heights impossible for man, becomes a symbol of any upward movement, from earth to heaven, linking the material world to the spiritual world, from death to life.
