La Luce ed il Buio fanno parte entrambi della nostra personalità e, come il giorno e la notte, non possono essere inscindibili, perché senza l’uno non è possibile vedere l’altro. Sta a noi armonizzarli e portarli perfettamente in equilibrio, come vediamo anche nel simbolo dello yin e dello yang, che esprime questa complementarità e che nel dipinto è rappresentata dai due corpi opposti ma che si completano creando una forma unica: il cuore, simbolo di amore, armonia e vita.
