Brunilda Balla - pittrice contemporanea

Brunilda Marku (Balla) is a visual artist born in Berat in 1995 and based in Tirana, Albania. Painting has been her most authentic form of expression since childhood. Her education began at the Berat Art School (2011–2014) and continued at the Academy of Arts in Tirana (2014–2017), where she won first place in the entrance exam.

His artistic research spans various techniques and visual languages, with a particular focus on the Impasto technique. Through dense layers of color, textured brushstrokes, and three-dimensional reliefs, the artist imbues his works with vitality and physical presence. From realism in portraits and landscapes to conceptual experimentation, each of his works seeks to convey an authentic emotion.

Her academic background also includes studies in art, design, textiles, and fashion, fields in which she has worked as a stylist and designer. She has also personally overseen interior design, decoration, and artistic composition projects for her own hotel. She currently runs her own business, which also serves as an exhibition space for her original works.
