IT: Roberta Passaro è un’artista italiana emergente nata a Napoli nel 1996. Ottiene il diploma triennale e specialistico in Pittura, Arti Visive presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli entrambi con lode. Il suo percorso artistico comincia fin dall’infanzia avendo da sempre considerato la pittura come mezzo di predilezione comunicativa: il suo alfabeto visivo. Ciononostante il suo dialogo si espande utilizzando le infinite possibilità multiformi proprie dell’Arte come la fotografia, la performance, l’installazione e l’audio-visivo. Esordisce artisticamente nel 2012 come pittrice con mostre collettive presso con varie associazioni culturali e gruppi giovanili con l’obiettivo di riqualificazione del territorio attraverso iniziative artistiche, culturali e di volontariato della provincia di Napoli. Espone in varie mostre collettive organizzate dall’Accademia di Belle Arti durante i suoi anni accademici dove ha la possibilità di poter conoscere varie personalità artisti di spessore internazionale che hanno influenzato significativamente il suo pensiero e la sua ricerca. La pittura resta comunque il suo strumento di predilezione artistica con una poetica che si ispira chiaramente all’informale e all’espressionismo astratto americano e tedesco. Attualmente vive e lavora a Verona, Italia.

EN: Roberta Passaro is an emerging Italian artist born in Naples in 1996. She graduated in Painting in 2019 and obtained a master’s degree in Painting in 2021, both with honors in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Her artistic career began from childhood, she has always been considered painting as her favorite way to communicate: it can be called her “visual alphabet”. However, her dialogue expands using the infinite possibilities to make art such as photography, performance, installation and audio-visual. She made her artistical debut in 2012 as a painter thanks to collective exhibitions at different cultural associations and youth groups with the aim of redeveloping the small-town areas by artistic, cultural and voluntary initiatives near Naples. She exhibits in many collective exhibitions organized by the Academy of Fine Arts during her academic years where she has the opportunity to meet lots of international artists of which have influenced her way of thinking and her personal artistical research. Painting remains her instrument of artistic preference, and her the poetics of her work is clearly inspired by the informal and American and German abstract expressionism. She currently lives and works in Verona, Italy.
