'VIBRATIONS, SIGNS, EMOTIONS'
Solo Exhibition by Cinzia Quadri (Pietrasanta, June 15–29, 2025)
Overcoming the limits imposed by logic and reason, aimed at achieving an ecstatic state, preserved through the artifact.
If not mediated, in Cinzia Quadri's work, she captures the viewer's senses through a heterogeneous figuration — created with a variety of techniques depending on the desired outcome — yet imbued with the same vibrant imagination that has driven her desire to paint since her earliest childhood.
Her decorative intent, evidently meticulous, leaves room for the artist's interiority, whose aesthetic expresses the stirrings of the soul through an expressionist representation with a figurative imprint. The dense lines, sometimes punctuated by the inclusion of objects dear to Cinzia, recall the thick hair of women, evoking their fertility, or the recurring roses, blue if an emblem of eternal love, or white, accentuating their candid delicacy.
These are symbols, and expressions, of a profound feeling that draws a nymph into the soul of the artist whose works, like narrative biographers, poetically explain her experience between music, in the wake of English rock, and sign, expressed in poetry and painting. Of the latter, the HindsightArt project, literally "hindsight," confirms the poetics already synonymous with rebirth, or rather, a new consciousness, the fruit of experience and its own absorption.
The subjects, among which the female figure predominates, anticipate, beyond mere representation, an aesthetic journey between dream and magic, imbued with persuasive femininity and inexhaustible passion. These, supported by a strong technical mastery developed during the numerous art courses she has attended, fuel Cinzia's art, a skilled interpreter of feeling in its infinite forms, possibilities, and human manifestations. 2025
