Critical note on the work "Hand - 1" by Stefano Milazzo (Milaz)

Milaz pays homage to Gian Lorenzo Bernini's David by reinterpreting part of the baroque sculpture, the hero's hand, in a contemporary key.

The use of the engraving technique on tetrapak is in fact a bold choice, as a commonly used material is elevated to an artistic support.

The final effect is astonishing and demonstrates the great skill of this contemporary artist.
