Symbols have been with us since time immemorial; mine serve as both inner anchors and a compass.

Historically, we created objects to make an absent person present.

Today, we create digital representations that allow a person to remain absent. This isn’t a problem of identity, but rather a question: What has happened to a person’s physical presence? Because, paradoxically, contemporary culture produces the greatest number of human faces in history, yet a vast portion of interpersonal relationships takes place without the person actually being in front of us.

Each of my symbols, each talisman, is a reminder and the energy of an absent person, so that they might be present.

Today we have technologies that allow a present person to remain absent. 

The body adapts to the object. The object adapts to the space.

AURORA does not describe the space around it; it consumes it, digests it, and returns it altered through dynamic chiaroscuro. Its shifting, radiant color spectrum is a precisely calibrated material reality that interacts directly with ambient light, continuously transforming the work’s spatial presence.

AURORA occupies the exact threshold at which the human body somatically accepts a space before the mind forms a nameable concept. It maintains a strict chronological continuity in which the past is never severed from the present. Substance, time, and architecture are ritually bound into a single immersive, tactile nexus.

Non-reproducible and weightless, AURORA as everyone else artworks is no exception functions as a protective shield in the form of circles

of protection that are part of the artist’s distinctive signature relief. Weighing only 1 kg, it carries the spatial authority of a museum work while requiring only one anchor. It is water-resistant, UV- protected and constructed on an acid-free base.
