"Bacco"

Description

One of Caravaggio's masterpieces, made between 1596-1597, probably commissioned by Cardinal del Monte to donate it as a sign of friendship, as evidenced by the black knot a symbol of close ties, that the Bacchus would seem to indicate with the index.

Technically I made this unique work with excellent pure linen canvas and softwood frame that I built. The mestica: rabbit glue, plaster for gilders and shadow land. Colors: powdered pigments (earths, titanium white, ivory black and vine) combined with linseed oil and walnut; tubes and bitumen in the tube, all from the best brands. 

The painting took 4 months of work between documentation on the artist's technique during that period and the technical times of realization. The price is in keeping with the excellent quality of the painting and you will rarely find a better bill and with these materials, you can easily verify it. 

Considerable time required the search for reliable images but obviously still inaccurate even if the work was viewed by me and the colors sampled. This aspect is common to anyone who does false copyright and the only way to overcome the problem is to receive a client who takes care of travel and various expenses ... and this is not enough because nobody is Caravaggio. However, we can get very close, but then we must be willing to spend the same. 

On the other hand, if the work is done by a true artist, who does not make commercial copies, you can have an authentic painting of excellent workmanship with its true value destined to rise over time because it is pure painting, done with genuine attention to every single aspect, with a commitment that from honesty borders on passion. 

The painting has a certificate of authenticity, is sold without a frame but will be shipped with careful packaging procedures. Live viewing is possible but travel expenses will not be at my expense. 

If really interested I can consider and eventually accept purchase proposals, refrain from wasting time. 

By law I accept the return within 14 days, but the costs of packing and shipping as always will be at your expense and the painting must be in the exact storage conditions with which it was sent by me.
