A sparrow on the windowsill
what a wonderful way to say: good morning!
A whole windowsill chirping
what better day than this
a flutter of wings, a quick turn
and an arabesque for a bow
what better gift if I were capable
A clear sky adorned with white clouds
that the wind pushes toward the sea
the sweet breeze that caresses your face
that touches your lips, that open in a smile
And then the sun rises, majestic as never before
imposing, almost, with its robe of fire and life.
If I could enclose all this in a gift
if I could give you all this every day
if every day could be peaceful for you
then I wouldn't need to tell you: happy birthday!
