City Night

Description

With the same concept I have used in the other painting, Shadows, I capture the night ‘s lights and vibes in the city where I live. I immagine a night as made of layers of shadows and colours, so I made a first layer of vibrant blue/ green. This is the colour of the sky when the sun is still shining.

The upper layers which derive from the first one mixing darker / black colours make the street and houses when night falls. The fine lines of same colour of the sky recall the day that has gone
