Description

Capturing the intensity of the gaze using minimalistisc lines and simple color palettes. By reducing lines and colors, I triad to make the expressiveness becomes more limpid and be the main subject of this piece. This concept characherizes many of my artworks.

The face countour is made by high quality charcoal pencils, which is my first attempt to use this technique on canvas. Alongs I have experimented with using red ink (lip) and black ink (eye).

This artwork includes an oak frame whose natural color highlights the simplicity of piece.
