The Pomodoro

Description

The Pomodoro originates from the encounter between a real and recognizable element, Arnaldo Pomodoro's Sfera Grande in Pesaro, and a landscape completely transformed by imagination. The sculpture retains its monumental presence, while the surrounding space gradually moves away from realistic references and opens into a suspended, dreamlike dimension.

Geometric forms, vegetation and colour create an environment in which reality and imagination coexist, anticipating some of the elements that would later become central to my artistic research.

The work belongs to the “Beyond Reality” series.
