The artwork,"in the city" symbolically describes the twisted and irrational environment that reigns in the city.

The lights, in the background, describe a modern city in which a tangled tangle of roads and highways accesses in the foreground.

Within this traffic jam there is a metal figure that represents the built and unnatural spirit of the city itself.

The sky is dark and threatening and from the point of view of the color tones highlights the contrasts of light in the painting even more.

In the background the skyscrapers and buildings are full of lights and stand up straight, while in the foreground the sinuous lines mean that, in plaster, the highways and motorways are softer and less showy.

The dominant colors are black, gray and white but also yellow, green and red.

The canvas on which it was painted is fine grain and the colors used are acrylics of excellent yield and quality.
