Klimt's kiss with buttons

I composed this unique piece of artistic craftsmanship entirely handmade, in acrylic, made with buttons, metal, golden glass tiles and other reused materials

      The work was born from the desire to experiment with different techniques and materials in reproducing works by great artists.

This one is particular for the use of buttons that fit very well into the work itself. The "golden period" of Klimt's production is characterized by the use of the color gold, given so intensely as to eliminate the effect of spatial depth which makes the painting appear two-dimensional. The light does not emanate from the outside, but comes directly from the couple, the fulcrum of the entire work. I inserted three-dimensional elements to accentuate this feature.
