Lilium Lynx

Description

I did this painting on the first day of spring and was inspired by nature coming back to life. For the background I tried a new water-based technique that leaves the colors slightly duller and seemed more suited to the result I wanted. The main character is a lynx surrounded by lilies. 

This painting is part of the Felidae series.
