YEAR 1975 - This drawing from my youth is the result of reflection on a part of my city that is deeply significant for the people of the Venetian province and beyond. Those familiar with this area will recognize a distinctive detail in the drawing, clearly visible from the bridge leading to Venice. It's the only sign, in truth, as the rest of the skyline resembles the typical lines of an industrial hub. Modernity? Well-being? In truth, I've often wondered whether it was truly beneficial for the population or just a matter of big business for a few and the destruction of a unique habitat.
