YEAR 1989 - This is one of the works of that troubled period that led me to reflections and centrifugal impulses. In that period the themes dear to me of painting were born as a language comparable to writing where however the color does its part like a song is words and music. So pages, paper, signs. Even in this work paper on paper to give more meaning, to underline and pay attention to what you read inside. The paper cannot be smooth and perfect. It itself carries with it the story, the vibrant life and tells it, shows it to you. The color drips between its folds and ends up becoming a line, a sign, a warning. And under the apparent symbol that seems to unite everyone, there remains an unbridgeable and unbridgeable white to fill.
