Red Moon

Description

A depiction of a classic beach resort in Rimini-Riccione, with rows of umbrellas, spectators watching a natural spectacle, recalling a vacation on the Riviera Romagnola in the summer of 1999. Painted on a January afternoon, but with a red moon, which appeared on January 21, 2000. The red moon, visible on the horizon, bathes the night in soft orange hues. Tempera on paper, 24 x 34 cm, created in 2000, also included in the 2001 art calendar. Included in the Atlas of Contemporary Art published by Giunti, which will be presented, and the work will be projected and exhibited to the public at the "MoMA" in New York in June 2026.
