Phoenix is also called the fire bird (precisely because it is made of fire), it is a mythological bird characterized by the fact that it controls fire and is reborn from its ashes after death. The ancient Egyptians were the first to speak of Bennu, which then became something different in Greek legends, namely the phoenix. In Egypt she was usually depicted with the Atef crown or with the sun disk emblem. Contrary to the "Phoenicians" of all other civilizations, the Egyptian one was not depicted as similar either to a bird of prey or to a colorfully colored tropical bird, but was initially similar to a sparrow (first dynasties) or a gray heron; moreover it did not rise from the flames but was immune from it (as in the Greek myth and subsequent myths), but from the waters.
