This cyanotype artwork explores the Slavic archetype of the wild woman spirit. It is an embodiment of untamed nature, intuition, and elemental force.

It is the awakening and invocation of a divine spark in a human body.

Toned with fenugreek, the work embraces organic transformation. The burnt edges act as a symbolic passage- destruction as a necessary threshold for renewal - mirroring the Samodiva’s dual nature as both muse and force of disruption. She does not simply inhabit the forest; she is its breath, its memory, its hidden fire.

The piece explores feminine power not as something passive or ornamental, but as a primal, creative spark - an energy that inspires, unsettles, and awakens. Here, the myth becomes internalised: the wild is not external, but a latent force within, waiting to be remembered.
