The Guardians of the Moons

Description
I made this painting because I wanted to represent the night and the moon in an almost magical atmosphere. The subject is a pair of milky owls resting on the branch of a dry tree; these nocturnal animals in the collective imagination are shrouded in magic and mystery, in my dimension they are the guardians of the moons. In fact, there are two moons in the painting, a waning one and a more distant, red one. It seems that these owls are the guardians of the moons because the branch behind them leads to the night sky.
