Description

This painting is firstly in sepia, the reason for this is due to it been part of a series of paintings of times gone by, many city's have changed and transformed dramatically not always for the best, this applies to my home city in Kingston Upon Hull, this depicts a time in Hull when the docks where full of ships especially fleets of steam trawlers.

I find its important to remember our past history as it is how we have arrived at the current destination and should recognise the achievement's of how and what we have become today
