Poppies

Description

I live in a small country town in the south of Italy and as a child I spent my time playing and walking with my friends along the country roads planted with wheat where single poppy flowers sprouted.

Single flowers with fragile petals but, at the same time, strong and so proud to be noticed among the crowd.
