Where Palinuro fell

Description

Palinuro, the mythical helmsman of Aeneas, fell into the sea at night, betrayed by the god Sleep, while leading the fleet to Italy.

From this mythological character takes its name the homonymous promontory of Cilento. A fairytale scenario.
