I am Andrea Stefanicova, and my creative name is ArtByAndyOriginal. I am a Slovak author, illustrator, and visual artist with a master’s degree in Applied Media Studies. I create original children’s books filled with heartfelt stories and hand drawn illustrations, designing each title entirely on my own, from the first sketch to the final layout. My books, available in English-only and bilingual Slovak–English editions, guide young readers through themes of friendship, patience, courage, and creativity.

Beyond storytelling, I am an expressive visual artist whose work is rooted in minimalism, emotion, and the quiet power of black and white. I create graphite and charcoal paintings where every line reflects my inner world. My art is defined by simplicity, contrast, and a deep sense of presence, with occasional soft touches of color bringing subtle life to the monochrome.

For me, art is a dialogue between silence and feeling, between what is seen and what can only be sensed. My paintings invite viewers to slow down, discover their own stories in the spaces between the lines, and experience the quiet emotion woven into each stroke.
