Biography

Antropoetico began as a voice. In 2009 something broke — or perhaps opened — and from that crack everything started pouring out: poetry, novels, essays, words written with the urgency of someone who cannot do otherwise. But words alone were never enough to hold what he needed to say.

Then came painting. Not as a deliberate choice, but as a necessity. The brush became a natural extension of the same voice that writes, and the canvas a boundless space where every emotion finds its own shape. Working in acrylic on canvas, he refuses to be confined to any single style or movement: portraits, abstraction, surrealism, figures, inner and outer landscapes alternate across a body of work exceeding 280 pieces, each unmistakable for the singular mark of his brushstroke.

The critic Antonio Castellana wrote of his work: «We are in the presence of an artist of high creative level and professional skill». In 2017 he took part in the International Art Prize Essenze d'Arte at the Mùses of Palazzo Taffini D'Acceglio in Savigliano, and in the Arte Milano Prize — passing the selection jury and receiving a certificate signed by Vittorio Sgarbi, with the award ceremony held at the Teatro Dal Verme. In 2018 his paintings were exhibited at the Albatros Gallery in Parma and in collective shows across Milan.

As a writer, he has published the novel Il bacio della vita — a story of redemption, impossible love and the will to live — and the poetry collection Poesie di Merda, in which formal provocation becomes a vehicle for uncomfortable truths about the human condition.
