Carla Desantis was born in Taranto, Italy, on June 10, 1975.
She lives and works in Rome.
She developed an early interest in art and painting and pursued formal artistic training, graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce, where she acquired strong technical skills and developed a distinctive personal style.
Her artistic practice focuses primarily on oil painting, with figurative and symbolic works exploring themes of spirituality, nature, animals, and inner emotional states. Through a refined use of light, color, and texture, her paintings aim to create a quiet dialogue between strength and delicacy, introspection and presence.
Over the years, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Rome, receiving positive recognition from both the public and art professionals.
