He manages to strike us to the heart, to enrapture us in his vision which soon becomes our own. It seems that nature pulses with primordial energies, which Volpi takes in and returns to painting, with sure and vaulting touches, sometimes decisive, sometimes careful and delicate. It is a figuration that gathers light in an optimal way, leading us in a path that develops on the surface of the canvas, attracting us, making us catch the beauty of the details that the work develops and harmonises in the whole of a balanced and fascinating vision.
