Giovanni Rossi - contemporary painter

It was the 70s when they gave me an easel and colors, I painted a cartoon of Stalio and Olio.
Then in Veggiano I spent the summer painting the countryside.
The easel and the colors did not follow me in Holland and it ends.
The passion, however, remained, and when I returned to Italy in the 80s free from myself I started again with the dreamy spirit of the naive young people.
I started with the floor of the house full of coins to walk on,
An installation to highlight the hypocrisies and compromises of the world governed by money.
When I moved house, I commuted to pick them up and take them to the bank.
The coins weighed a lot, like the utopia of wanting to change the world.
Then I covered the ceiling with intertwined threads to express the contradictions of religions and their human complexity.
I began to experiment and research something that through visual representation could simplify thoughts and emotions.
I don't know if this is possible for me. I have the impression that I complicate it instead of simplifying it, however I try.
Now I paint in oil what I see and then turn into autographed prints and with a diffusion limit.
Many were born from paintings on canvas and then brought back and processed on the computer to print a limited series.
