Biography
Jacqui Taylor is an accomplished artist originating from Kingston upon Thames, Britain. She pursued her art education at Farnham Art College and subsequently completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours at Brighton University. Currently based in Nottingham, she specializes in abstract painting, utilizing oils and/or acrylics to create expressive artworks. She loves working with bright colors and exploring how different colors and textures interact with each other, which leads to endless compositions and evokes various emotions. " I just love the inner journey you go on while painting a picture, It is almost like a meditation. Lots of different feelings come and go, and sometimes you get to the point where it feels like the painting creates itself."
Additionally, she engages in a distinctive technique she refers to as abstract doodles, using Ink pen to build up intricate abstract pictures.
In her own words, Jacqui articulates, "Painting for me is like composing music, and composing music is like painting," highlighting the profound relationship she perceives between these two creative disciplines.
Recently, she has broadened her artistic exploration by delving into the domains of digital art and photography, thereby expanding her repertoire and further enriching her creative expression.
