Stefano Carrara - contemporary painter

Biography

Stefano Carrara was born in Milan in 1966. Having graduated in sociology, he approached painting as a self-taught person. Under the guidance of Maestro Franco Migliaccio, professor of Art History at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia, he experimented with oil painting. Later watercolour, tempera, acrylic, dry pastel and oil. Since 2013 he has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions.

2013 - collective c/o Hotel Admiral in Milan on the occasion of the presentation of the book "Dipingilo di Nero" by Fabrizio Canciani;

2014 (June and October) - solo and live c/o Associazione Micapaglia - "Milan, its waters... concert of the arts" with the Hayez Duo;

2014 - solo and live at the Vakvassori Peroni Library, Municipality of Milan - "Milan, if its waters.. voice for mandolin, guitar and brushes" with the Hayez Duo;

2014 (September and December) - solo and live c/o Chiesa Beata Vergine Immacolata in Segrate - "Milan and its waters... voice for mandolin, guitar and brushes" with the Hayez Duo;

2015 -- solo and live at the Local Police Academy of Milan "Universo Donna" with the Hayez duo

2015 - solo exhibition at Cascina Grande in Rozzano (MI)

2019 - collective "Stories with taste" organized by the Slow Food Association, ArteMeta Association;

2020 - collective "IncontrARTI-Natura" c/o Palazzo Trivulzio - Locate Triulzi (MI) in collaboration with ArteMeta;

2021 - collective "IncontrARTI-Natura" c/o Palazzo Trivulzio - Locate Triulzi (MI) in with ArteMeta sponsored by the Brera Academy of Fine Arts;

2022 - collective and personal exhibition "MILANO 3 LIVES ART XV ed" curated by the art historian and critic Giorgio Gregorio Grasso;

2022 - collective "Festa di Basiglio" curated by the Basiglio painters group (MI);

2022 - collective "Impronte sulla neve" with the patronage of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and the Province of Belluno

2023 - collective "Artists for peace and work" c/o Palazzo Trivulzio (MI) with the artistic direction of Prof. Angelo Antonio Falmi sponsored by the Accademia Belle Arti di Brera, ANPI, Associazione ArteMeta
