Venanzio Berton - contemporary painter
Venanzio Berton was born in Milan. He specializes in the field of audiovisual and cartoon commercials. After working in large and small-medium agencies in his city, in the 70s he began as an illustrator cartoonist and art director. He began painting in the early 90s inspired by Valerio Adami. He customizes his style transferring on canvas a graphic pictorial genre derived from his professional experiences. In his works there is an ironic and striking iconographic reading of American Pop Art from the 1960s by Roy Lichtenstein.
