Atoms
Description
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed!
This painting illustrates the beginning of my work on the representation of the birth of atoms and their movements through time.
From the finest grain to larger aggregates, he describes the construction of elementary bricks despite the passing and leaking time, in a disorderly and sometimes stopped movement. Time flows in all directions at the same time and offers freeze-frames on the molecules under construction, in three dimensions, from the last to the foreground.
Starting from ashes, simple molecules, carbon in the form of coal and combining other elementary materials, everything aggregates around the elementary bricks, forged in the heart of the stars: atoms, fleeting shadows playing with light and transparency.
The colours, at the crossroads of grey, white and black, are symbols of an eternal restart, of mourning and rebirth, of purity and uniqueness.
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed!
