There's a flavor that comes to your mouth at the end of every summer, at the end of every journey, at every ending: it's the taste of the last swim before autumn begins. You stand there looking at the sea with your pupils dilated to let in as much blue and turquoise and light as possible. You stand there with your pores capturing the wind and the sun.

This work by Marcella Molea, oil on cardboard, captures a figure immersed in the water at sunset. The composition is dominated by warm hues of orange and yellow, which envelop the sky and sea with dynamic brushstrokes. A person, seen from behind and wearing a wide hat, holds a glass, enjoying the moment. The intense sunlight reflects on the water's surface, creating a serene and enveloping atmosphere. The textural textures of the oil give depth and liveliness to the scene.
