Coastline with Lemons, oil and acrylic on canvas, 80x40 cm. In this work, I created a contrast between the tactile and material proximity of the foliage and the light-filled lemon trees in the foreground, and the vastness of the landscape behind. The mixed media helped me define the architectural details of the colorful houses perched on the cliff and the winding road, all the way to the calm of the turquoise sea and the piers stretching out into the water. It's a celebration of the light and color of my homeland.
