Description

It represents everything that does not change with time. It does not seek an arrogant or haughty approach (“I don’t change; others do”), but rather an awareness that singularity is sometimes achieved through the natural changes that occur in others.

The cypress was painted, like the rest of the work, in autumn, yet it could have been exactly the same in any other season. The remainder of the piece is autumnal, with an ethereal architecture, far more open than usual, allowing space for autumnal tones and nuances, and materialized through elements meant to evoke falling leaves.
