Hört uns, glaubt uns

Description

In my sculpture, acrylic and plaster intertwine to create a vulnerable yet powerful representation of human resilience and connection. Relief-like, black handprints symbolize the numerous sexual assaults the girl endured in her childhood and represent the scars such experiences leave behind.

The artwork Hear Us - Believe Us - You Are Not Alone is a powerful depiction of the painful reality of sexual assault.

It tells a story, sends a message to society, and calls for action.

It is a call for change and for creating a safer and more just world for all.
