I had seen this pose at a time when talks about terrorism, Islam and terrorist attacks were rife in the newspapers. The message itself is not original I know, but in the end it is difficult to be when everything has been gutted. The two boys are different, and not so much because of the sex. Yet they wear the same pair of jeans, a single pair of jeans that welcomes both as well as what the garment represented and represents: something simple, resistant and affordable for everyone, which erases the differences, and so should love.
