In this work, titled "Marina Notturno" (oil and acrylic on canvas, 60x30 cm), I wanted to capture the evocative magic of Santa Maria di Castellabate immersed in the quiet of the night.

​The composition unfolds in a horizontal format that embraces the coast, where the historic architecture, the marina, and the promenade come to life thanks to the warm reflections of artificial light. The streetlamp in the foreground and the village's light fixtures guide the eye across the scene, creating a vivid contrast with the deep hues of the sea and the silent hills standing out under an enveloping blue sky.

​Through dense, textured brushstrokes, I sought to evoke the intimate, suspended atmosphere of one of Cilento's most charming seaside villages: the visual dialogue between the golden warmth of the lights and the freshness of the water creates a timeless emotion.
