In this artwork, I wanted to capture the excitement and hope that accompany the beginning of a new life journey. The gently rounded plaster cast of the pregnant belly forms the centerpiece of this piece. The soft blue and white color scheme enhances the maritime atmosphere. A fine fishing net lies over it, symbolizing the endless expanse of the ocean. I carefully incorporated seashells into the net to capture stories of distant shores and the boundless freedom and serenity of the sea.
