Stitching of the banner

Description

The painting represents an unnamed lady who finishes sewing a banner on the battlements of a medieval castle. In a moment of peace, the woman picked up her needled in daylight, away from the hustle and bustle of the castle.

The painting continues on the sides of the canvas, in order to make the frame optional.
