Description

"Le Nuove Donne" is the most ambitious and largest canvas in the 2024 series "Le donne di spalle – backs, lives, and colors", conceived in collaboration with the Municipality of Meolo (Venice, Italy). The work is part of a forthcoming solo exhibition, now rescheduled to 2026 due to external organizational reasons.

This piece features two female figures instead of the single models seen in previous paintings, and is twice the size of the artist’s usual canvases. It portrays a symbolic moment: Eva and Gaia are seated on a luminous cloud in the galaxy, as if awaiting the right time to be born. Behind them, our magnificent planet Earth appears in the distance—an image both intimate and universal. Their names alone evoke powerful archetypes of life, creation, and transformation.

Although still in progress and not officially listed for sale, this piece is open to early offers and reservation inquiries.
