​"In 'Silence for Two,' I wanted to capture a moment of pure temporal suspension. From a wooden terrace, the viewer's gaze is guided beyond a rustic railing, to lose itself in the majesty of a mountain landscape bathed in the last light of day.

​The emotional core of the work lies in contrast: the vastness and cool tones of the mountain range surrounding the lake contrast with the intimate warmth of the foreground. On a small round table, two steaming cups reflect the gold and orange of a vibrant sunset, transforming an everyday gesture into a ritual of sharing and peace. Through bold, textured brushstrokes, I sought to capture not only a landscape, but the precise sensation of that complicit silence that reigns when the sun touches the horizon."
